Credit Card Machines.

Rebooted

This was a project made by a Product Designer (me) a developer and a Crossfit Gym Owner. The project didn't make it because we lost the main investing guy, however it is still an amazing project that I would like to share.

History

The Crossfit Gym owner had a CRM that was bad developed and kind of expensive (yet, it was the best in the market), after checking the software, we realized that we could do something much better and even replace his credit card machines.

UsersFocus on a smaller audience

Mensaly was created to be used by any business that required a monthly payment membership. However the founder decided to focus on a smaller group because he knew well of the needs of them:

Regular Gyms

Crossfit Gyms

Pilates Studios

Fight Gyms

A new way to handle monthly payments

HomeA timeline of latest events

We couldn't have the home to be like other bank apps, showing the balance because our user might get to open the app in front of their clients, so this information needed to keep private. So we thought what to do, and it basically is where they can check their recipts.

BalanceTwo is better than one

Like credit card machines, here our client can antecipate their next month payment. Antecipations is one of the main monetization of Mensaly, something like a loan.

ProductsA little store inside every gym

Our users sells more than their membership members. When we visited some potential clients we saw that almost everyone had a little store inside their gym, most of them selling t-shirts and whey protein. So we knew we had to support this type of transactions.

Finished Screens

This is how the visual design looked at the end.

Motion DesignTo improve interaction

On every page, the user can go to the settings about that page like the animation display. On the home screen they are directed to the main configuration menu.

Conclusion

Our users need to have accesse to his client credit card security number. We know that some users don't fell confortible with this, so we are going to make a Client App, we are doing this right now, with Mensaly box. In my portfolio soon.

All other aspects are pretty good, we have tested it, and we know it works.

Thats all folks, thanks.
